      COURSE DESCRIPTION

      Play way Method

      Play –way is a means of the subjective and emotional development of the child that is, development in terms of intellect skills and feelings .pay way method is structured on activity – based learning .it encourages creative skills and self-expression. Playing is the predominant factor in this method.

      Here are the 5 basic principles that guide the play – way method of teaching:

      • Doing things practically helps in early learning
      • An atmosphere of freedom is conducive to learning.
      • Learning should be related to life and note to books
      • The method should suit the needs and interest of the child.
      • A mple opportunities for children to express themselves

      Play – way method helps children follow certain aspects of development such as:

      • Language
      • Logical reasoning
      • Physical activity
      • Aesthetic sense
      • Creative ideas
      • Social network

      When children play they have active engagement with the child safe materials used at olive tree international school. They are intrinsically motivated and have freedom from external rules: play allows children to be attentive to the process at hand and children display a positive effect. When playing children begin to think symbolically when they play.

      We provide opportunities for children to have spontaneous unstructured child initiated play experiences. With this in mind, the classrooms at olive tree international are designed with jungle scenery so that the students can go for a jungle walk.

      We have provided children a large enough area for playing with two or more peers in an area, where they will not be interrupted, also the place is child safety. The teacher give careful attention to every child during play time.

      Space is provided by the school both for dramatic plays and also plays of each ones interest .joys provided serve both purposes of study and entertainment.

      Curriculum content for young children is often presented or reinforced in the content of play as teacher introduce play themes provide materials and help children expand on their ideas.

      The school also starts with an assembly where the teachers imbibe moral values & fear of god into the young minds action songs and prayer
